Bless with Intention

Overview

• Are you speaking life, or death, over those around you? God teaches us to bless, intentionally, those around us through our thoughts, words, and actions. We have the joy, and responsibility, of blessing others: as a parent, as a business Leader, as a person in authority, and even as a person with no authority who simply desires to bring joy into the room. God does not put us in positions of leadership so that we can discourage HIS CHILDREN, whom He has entrusted to our care, or HIS PEOPLE, whom we have been given to lead. God calls us to bless them, intentionally.

Scriptural Basis

• Matthew 12:35-37 ³⁵ A good man’s speech reveals the rich treasures within him. An evil-hearted man is filled with venom, and his speech reveals it. ³⁶ And I tell you this, that you must give account on Judgment Day for every idle word you speak. ³⁷ Your words now reflect your fate then: either you will be justified by them or you will be condemned.”
